Hi - I know many people swear by this sharpening tool. I emailed the tooltonic site last January and again earlier this week, but never got a response, and they have no distributors in the US.
Would anybody be willing to drop by a retailer and pick me up a tuning set, some finishing files/stones, and ship them to me in the USA? I will pay for everything + shipping of course plus a six-pack of your favorite beer
I was looking at the
tuning set (TF10) and finishing file/stone (LF10)
I've also never used this tool before - anything else I should get in addition to these parts? Also, considering it is apparently difficult to order things from them, should I get spare files/stones? I don't know how long they last.
Thanks very much!

Still have not heard back from them
Are tooltonic sharpeners common in stores out where you are, or are most people obtaining them through the website?
And are you mailing their contact
email address or filling out their contact
web form?
And are you writing in English in French?
Thanks for the help!

Hi Ken,
Strange that you didn't get a reply from ToolTonic. I've contacted them twice by email and had a reply within an hour.
They have no dealer in France but we can directly order in Switzerland although it's not worth it because of the shipping cost, customs and bank fares. But if we really want these tools, we have no choice. But it is different for the luky ones that live not far from the border.

ken i'll try to sort that problem out for ya

.
Tooltonic is a one man company with help of another one sometimes: micro business!
He has many many dealers in switzerland, but surprisingly, the lobbies of big brands like tognar, swix etc make it hard for him to come on french market!
However he will ship worldwide!
stay tuned
Nils

Hi - I finally got in touch with tooltonic via the
web form contact page rather than the regular email address.
Thanks!
