Ordering RAB-system from Bomber together

Post by Dave » Tuesday 29 November 2005, 7:07

Unfortunately the system will not be ready befor the end of december.

But I was just thinking that people who are intrested in the RAB-system from bomber (BTS) could order it together here for the ECS meeting in Zinal?

That way, we avoid a few shipping costs

Good idea !!! I´m with you. Just in case that the RAB will cost more than 50Euro each I would reconsider my options.
I had the opportunity that some friends from the US bring me mine in Dec. but Fin say´s that bomber won´t make the deadline.

So I consider odering together a good idea.

Only problem would be that having 10 or so units in 1 package would make it hard to avoid customs and tax.

For 69USD, you will get 2 systems for 2 boots.

Also available are extra springs for extra modification.

Are there more candidates?

Pokkis, thx!

It looks great so I'm in. Anyone else?

Any suggestions on which springs to be chosen?

Kindest,

István

I will take the blue (medium) ones with an extra set of soft springs (yellow)
That way, I can test a litle bit for the perfect set-up 8)

So we can begin a list?

Becareful with colour. It would be better if Fin has exactly specifications of each springs.
Because I see with my ACSS, the best compromise is around 300N for utility length.
Also for backside, you must have harder spring (because smaller length).
I think it's better to pick-up softest springs, and find a local spring dealer...

Sorry with my poor english language

Extra Springs vs. price

Post by István » Friday 2 December 2005, 13:45

So the kit including all types of springs would be USD 69 + 2x15 + 2x20 = 139. Then you have 2 of each size and colour that would allow you to try every possible setup. (if I understand correctly that springs also come in pairs). Still affordbale, but aren't the springs a bit too expensive??

Cheers,

István

Hi Guys,
Well I would really be interested also in one set of BTS (more likely the blue ones). Does anyone know about the shipping and custom fee?
But waiting until the ECS is really a pain!

For example, I bought Rabourdin X-soft spring (D=20 L=38 ) for 1,85€ (2,17$)...

For the moment, the bomber-system is not ready, so we have to wait a little bit

So to get thins started I would suggest to begin with a list for people who really wan´t to get a set of Bomer's RABs for the ECS. Who will place the order could be decided by who has the lowest VAT. I can not promise but actally it could worj out that friends of mine from Texas could actually bring the stuff without having tax and VAT. I have to check on this if this could be possible in Januar.

1. Wolfgang (utzel) 1 pair of RAB´s, with soft springs, no extras

3. Jean-Pierre -> 1 pair, soft springs, no extras
