Hello,
I'm new here and wasn't sure where to just jump in or if I should just jump in. A carving forum? I think I've been looking for this for almost fifteen years. I started riding when I was fourteen soft boots and hated it. I came from a skiing background and a friend let me try out a Burton PJ 5.4 and I found out what part of snowboarding I liked. LOL! I ended up buying that PJ and have been riding hard boots ever since. A friend who rode freestyle asked me once how I could stand hard boots because they're so uncomfortable. I didn't understand what she meant. Mine have never been uncomfortable.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what you all are into as far as riding goes. Myself, I love running GS and Super-G courses. I've always been a bomb at slalom. I'm told I don't wiggle right to do it well. LOL! And I love free riding. Just a wide open trail, me, and my old 171 cm Factory Prime! No one to hit that way! LOL!

Hope this wasn't too long or too off topic! Looking forward to message boarding, I guess you'd call it.

Anyone from USASA in Tahoe, yes it's the same Jager from 1995! LOL!

Take care and be safe,
Jager

welcome here, as you have seen, its more a freecarving forum than a race forum, but all carvers share the same pleasure!
There is a bunch of tahoe carvers around, they also have a website i think called www.tahoecarvers.com

:)

Try Kirkwood. Lots there. They also have the walkie/talkie channel (search the forum for the exact channel).

Hi. I also started/am still on a PJ 5.4 and I love it. In addition to Tahoe carvers there is also www.bomberonline.com and I believe the Tahoe channel is 5-12 (not exactly positive). I've seen people at Kirkwood and Alpine meadows. One or two at Northstar other than myself.

Good luck!
