The Highlander is easer to mount and dismount...so i preffer the Highlander... and the feel is about the same.

Highlander vs Ph1
Hi Lee!
How many canting plates do you put below the Highlander bindindings now ? do you ride flat or with canting on them and is that enough not to touch snow during EC turn ?
Thanks!

Today was my first time snowboarding after my injury (ript tendon) Its still a bit swolen but it did not hurt during boarding.
To answer your question, i board flat but i use 5mm lifting plates all around. That give me extra clearance during carving.
Those lift plates you have to order on request but they work well.

PH1 v. Highlander
What about the fact the highlander ones harden the board since they are fixed fully on it, as opposed to the PH1 which is fixed to the board only by its aluminium lift plates ? do you feel a difference when riding and which one do you prefer (excluding the fact highlander are easier to mount)?

With the Highlander you have direct contact near the edge where you want it. I have not felt the "downside" that it "stiffens" the board. I board mainly on Hot and they are quite stiff (for my weight at least). Maybe one can feel the "stiffening" effect better on boards that softer. I now have four sets of Highlanders and i don't want anything else.
