------------------------------

We are excited to announce all the dates of the "Swoard Demo Tour 2027". :D This "Tour" includes of course the main event "ExtremeCarving Session (ECS)" (24th edition) and other meetings in resorts we have "certified for EC". "Demo" does not only mean that the participants can test and enjoy Swoard boards, but also that they can watch demonstrations of extremecarving by the Swoard team (the founders and Swoard instructors).

Since 2004, we organize these events to enable participants to understand our concepts and get the most out of Swoard snowboards, which have made extremecarving possible. Our ride technique, settings, bindings and boots are very different from what is used in racing. Above all, our snowboards have been developed in these conditions, by the creators of EC (Jacques and Patrice). Designed for carving on the sides, closing well the fully laid turns and ride with fluidity, the Swoard snowboards require relearning.

Free lessons or advices are given to explain the ride technique we have developed from 1995 to 2001. This technique, easily identifiable, is especially adapted to the width and other specificities of the SWOARD Extremecarver (now the Gen5 and the Pro3), the snowboard that gave rise to extremecarving. The words "rotation", "push-pull", "fluidity" and "gesture purity" will be part of your vocabulary. Advices on the settings of bindings and boots are also provided. It was necessary to create our own models.

At least 2-3 Swoard instructors will be present at each event. The Swoard team will be complete with 5 instructors during the main event "ExtremeCarving Session" in Zinal.

 Three new models will be presented this season! WOW! :clap3: :silly:
Firstly, the eagerly awaited new SWOARD Extremecarver Pro3, yet another game-changer!
The model SWOARD Dual3 will be available. This ever more incredible board is very versatile, with great performance at the same time. "Duality" is for hardboots/softboots, as well as on-piste/off-pist. There will be the other new freeride/freecarve model, the SWOARD Stoke2, that is made exclusively for softboots (due to its width). Therefore, the riders with softboots are welcome!

Note that some demo boards (Pro2 and Stoke1) of the previous generations will be available for sale. Thus, you can find second-hand snowboards at great prices.
The model SWOARD Extremecarver Pro3 is made in limited series by hand (in 3 sizes and 3 flexes): therefore, only few demo boards are available. The SWOARD-UPZ EC12 hardboots and the SWOARD Redline2 bindings are not in demo as the settings take too much time, but you can see them used by the team and many riders.

The Swoard team

Personal thanks:

Big thanks to all the people who are now also part of the Swoard team: :pray2:
- the Swoard EC instructors: Arnaud, Anthony, Julien, Sébastien, Petr and Lambert
- the staff in organization: Arnaud, Joël and Jörg
- the staff in backstage: Jörg, Fanfoué, Joël and Etienne
- the numerous volunteers helping us in the stands: Christophe, Holly and more (they will be listed after the ECS).
Without your help and passion, those events would not be possible since 24 years. We believe that this is contributing to make snowboard carving trendier in Europe and in the world. Actually, many brands are now following on the softboots scene mainly, but with commercial goals. Progressively we are making alpine snowboarding more popular, in parallel to softboots carving (especially in Japan). :D
