The softest tongues possible?
Hi, my grey Deeluxe Track 225 tongues have been modified and cut nearly to holes but they are still too stiff for my weight (50kg).
What are the softest possible tongues for the other brands? Could they be used with Deeluxe?

50 kg... Track 225...
Change boots to others like Raichle SB123, SB124, SB224, SB323 or Deeluxe SPA Lady... And begin to inflect and relax the legs for flex in joints.

Tali, it´s not the tongue.
Cut the shell like Rafal shows in his thread of ACSS.
If that is not enough, cut the shell near the two upper buckles and the two upper straps.
And backside where the upper shell touches the lower shell (for better backside flex)
If that is not enough, reduce the shell at that place where second buckle and strap is located.
The liner will get more room for forward movement.
I promise, you get boots that are softer than many softboots.
(I did it with my Suzukas)

Hi, all those cuts have been already done.
And the tongue was cut in many places as well.
If I remove the tongues and ride without them, the boots finally flex. But without the tongues, it doesn't feel safe.

So you don't think that the model Track 225 is for 50 kg at all? What would be the min weight for them?Zemely wrote:50 kg... Track 225...
I will check out the brands you suggested, thanks.

Deeluxe Track 225 for 55kg/180sm and up to beginners 70 kg/180 sm - for carvers (not for good racers).tali wrote:What would be the min weight for them?
The height of a person is very important than "dry data" only about weight.
50kg/165sm and 50kg/180sm - different potential of the lever and moment.
Nowadays, children's and teenage hardboots are no longer produced since 2001 (Raichle SB-series) and 2006 (SPA, SPA Lady).

Re: The softest tongues possible?
Maybe the liners are the problem? For example, the old red Thermloflex liners are very very soft while Intuition PowerWraps are quite stiff.
