Advice: If using instep, order spare wires for ejecting

Post by Peter » Thursday 17 March 2005, 12:15

Hello all,

last week i was on stubaier glacier for one week. On first day my rear instep-wire for ejecting from binding was broken. Big shit. I had nether spare wires nor my standard bindings with me.
Thought that this will be a funny week, for eyery ejecting from binding i need two skiers for helping me ejecting from binding. Funny picture, one stick left and one stick right, pressing at the same moment. On third day i found a shop who had left some spare wires. I was very lucky because i was surprised that this shop had few hardboot gear at all.

So here my advice: If you are using instep then order spare wires right now, if you do not have spare wires at all. Big shit, when the ejecting wire is broken.
