Bindings: Soft Boot

Does anyone have any recommendations on bindings for soft boots (and I realize that most on here are using hard boots). I'm looking for bindings that don't break the bank until I can save up for a hardboot setup. Any suggested brands ?

One of our italian friends use softboots gear on an Extremecarver board. After many test he found that Burton Driver x + Flow nxt frx is a good stiff combination, close to hardboot setup and suitable for carving.
