RIP Tom SIMS
One of the first, never used this brand but a friend got an asymetric from SIMS.
A big skater also.

Is very sad news...a guy I know has a Sims board..these boards have been collectible for sometime,if my understanding is correct...hope Tom has a powder heaven...

We are very sad to learn this. Tom SIMS is gone too early (cardiac arrest).
He was a legend, for his innovations and as well as for his results in competition (World Snowboarding Champion and World Champion Skateboarder).
He will also stay in the memories as the primary snowboarding stunt double for "007" (Roger Moore) in the 1985 James Bond film "A View to a Kill":

Tom got me on the team way back in the 80's. Looking forward to ECS 2013 and learn to Xtreme carve.
