Lodging in Zinal

I am on the verge of booking my trip to ECS 2013, but need to know what is the best place to lodge, I need a bed only. I am on budget coming from les USA.

You can find more rooms in the hotels of Grimentz (10 min by car or bus), or even Vissoie (12 min).

It is also possible to rent an apartment for 3-4 days only!

Another agency, missing in the list, is Zinal-Holiday.

In Zinal, the cheapest hotels are "La Poste", "Le Trift" and "La Pointe de Zinal".

Yes, but La Poste and Le Trift are booked out.

Got no informations from Pointe, but guess, they are booked out too.
Single room should be possible in Becs de Bosson in Grimentz. But how would he get to Zinal?
Is there a ski bus?
