How to get a hardboot

Hallo everybody,
this year we try to get a hardboot....no chance in germany and austria too.
What happens....the most manufaktorers give up to produce them.
Only two boots are available in germany and austria:
1.DEE Luxe (no name product)
2.Raichle ( very old one, Modell from 95,96)

Raichle give up to produce the last year boots.

I´ve got the last Burton Wind Hardboot at the Burton Store in Insbruck. I`m searching for this boot, since the last season.

The whole carving scene is dying out, i guess. What can we do in the future?????

Don`t worry mate, Deeluxe is exactly the same boots than Raichle

, just wonderig why they decided to drop Raicle brand off from snowboard hardboots

Hi cr,

you´re right.
I´m trying to get a new Head Stratos Pro for this season. Therefore i´ve been to 5 stores in Munich.
Only one store had the boot, but of course not my size.
So i tried the next size to mine, and afterwards i orderd the boot at my local store.
After a few days i got a recall, that they are not able to get this size.
Explanation: Head only produced the amount of hardboots, which was orderd by the stores before the season. Thanxxx Head!!!!

The next day, i orderd the boot in munich, and they´ll try.

Well, i´ll see if they´re able to manage it.

Hello,

today the next store told me that there are no Head boots left for this season.
Now i have got a problem.
My old UPS is totally worn out, and the deelux boots do not fit to my feet.

I have heard about custom foamed liners and therefore i contacted www.strolz.at for information.

They only have liners for skiboots(all of them are custom-fitted, but they told me they also work perfect.
Before wasting money on this liner (255 EUR), i want to ask here in the forum, if anybody has experiences with strolz liners.

Dee-lux = Raichle with thermofits should fit quite nicely for most feet.
For testing problem is that you dont see result before inner boot is warmed/fitted but after that it is fine. When putting foamed innerboots to snowboard boots one must remember that sb-boot is flexing much more that ski boots and that can break foamed innerboot faster.

When your size for shoes is not too big, you can get hardboots in www.ebay.de, because a lot of peoples do sell them. Look fo example for the burton . Yes they are perhaps used, but i think it`s better as when you haven´t any boots.

At the moment i saw for sell:

Some are new. The german e-bay seems to be very good. This season i have baught a snowboard for really little money...

Hello,
normally i would buy Raichle, but i´ve narrow feets and the performance isn´t my favourite. I like the metal adjusable buckles and the shoe inside which have no tongue from the burton.
And i´m using the burton step-in. In my opinion a really good step in.
