Mirek, as i can suggest the only reason to buy those boots is just the price. The price difference between new is about 200- 300USD. Therefore if the chance of failure is 1% and the consequence (i.e. medical treatment, artificial bones, etc) is less than 20000-30000USD that deal makes sence. If you can die because of boot failure - do not buy it whatever probability is.

Price difference is even less due he can sell them easily with 100 euros with informing and showing that crack as reason for low price.

I could take them with that price if delivered to Zinal :bravo:

Intec heel does not even use this part of a shell so this is safe. The whole strengths are transmitted through the screws not through the back of the shell.

Intecs = better (more solid) boot/binding mounting and this is not suggested by the Swoard team. See "plates naked truth" thread to read more about this.

Anyway this will let You use these boots without any risk on Your knees.

Starikashka: Agreed, Your cost(health) comparison is clear. It's 1000% better to use 100% error free shells :-)

Mirekd: Please do not even try to glue it and use it this way. I'm sorry this shell is dead for the classic binding.

Agree, classic, old fashioned bindings suck many ways :evil2:
