The hardcore extremecarvers and new faces have joined this nice Session!
Some of the newcomers travelled from Quebec and we were glad to ride with them on our slopes in the Alps.The number of participants was surprisingly high (about 130-140) considering the exchange rate of Swiss currency into Euro (+20% recently) or into ruble (+100%), and the bad weather forecast. Saturday was finally sunny! With the fresh powder, the conditions were more ideal for freeriding and the DUAL model. However, we managed to perform not too bad EC turns in difficult conditions, as this can be seen in the pictures and the film below. The level of the riders and the board performances have improved a lot during the last years: these are some goals of Swoard and our Sessions.
On Saturday dinner, we could watch the preview of the movie "The Cut" and tell some stories about the shooting, made in only one day. Final version will be available over Internet very soon in March 2015.
We also showed the total new bindings developed by Swoard: announcement (in the Forum) and availability from 9th March. This is the result of 3 years of work and development in secret. We are very excited by their performances and can't wait for your feedbacks.

Warm thanks to all the people who helped Swoard before and during the three days.
Without them, this event would not exist. 
Not in alphabetical order: Julien, Holly, Christian, Romain, Etienne, Jean-Pierre, Laurent, Arnaud, Anthony, François, Alex, Petr, Oleg, Tali, José, Valérie, Bernadette, Mallorie, Joerg, Pierre (the cameraman and film editor), Lionel (the photographer) and all the people who helped to prepare the main hall on Friday afternoon (Yann, Minh, Jérôme, Aurélien, David, ...).
PHOTOS- Our official photographer Lionel Fellay has shot some beautiful pictures on Saturday despite the very soft snow, like the ones you can see below.

There are however few images because of bad weather on Sunday and Monday morning... And the snow conditions were really difficult for all participants. More important was to not injury oneself. Be a hero at next session on hard packed snow!
FILM- Pierre, the usual cameraman, has tried to keep the best turns in the following film. We place a selection of cool falls too. The snow was perfect for submarines!

FUTURE- The dates of the Swoard ECS 2016 are already known! The 13th ExtremeCarving Session will take place from Jan 30th to Feb 1st, 2016 !
Participate in the 2nd Swoard Film Contest". Use your recent footage or shoot more with one or several Extremecarver (or DUAL) in action, for editing a good film. We decided to leave enough time for filming and cutting your video. The deadline for participation is 14th January 2017, so you have two seasons! There are 3 boards to win, and the Awards will be given during the 14th ExtremeCarving Session in January 2017.
