Même avec un temps aussi moyen que celui que nous avons eu pendant 2 jours (mauvaise visibilité), c'est toujours un plaisir de rider et de partager de bons moments de convivialité avec les copains et tout le team Swoard.
Pas facile de coucher des virages dans ces conditions mais peu importe, avec une Swoard sous les pieds, on prend autant de plaisir en free carve et en petits virages enchaînés tranquillement.
Et comme le dit si bien Arnaud, pas besoin de voir où l'on va, on sent le relief de la piste sous ses pieds et ça passe !
Pour moi la saison est terminée (d'autant plus avec ma déchirure ligamentaire faite lors de la dernière descente ) et j'ai déjà hâte d'être à l'hiver prochain pour tous vous retrouver sur les pistes dans le bon esprit qui caractérise la famille Swoard

Here are some words in English, and a few pictures which I got from some participants.

Ah, it was so good to be back to Italy after 3 years! The resorts were closed there since March 2020 and during all winter 2021.

For this session, the weather was not fantastic. But we had a good visibility in the forest and we could enjoy nice carving on the hard packed snow with low temperature. Only one black slope was open because this winter is really dry, especially in the Italian Alps. Despite of the lack of snow, the pistes were very well prepared.

Some participants came from far: Austria (for Julia), France, and even… Chile (for Ignacio)!

Well, Ignacio (on the right of the picture above) didn't come directly from Chile, but from Switzerland where he was traveling with his sons (for ski and snowboard competitions). He drove to Italy only to meet us for one day!

Thus, shame on the local Italian riders who stayed at home because of some clouds and the fake news about "bad snow". We had fun and, after 2 years of pandemic, social contacts are something worth enough. Bravo to the Italian riders who came anyway. Flaviano could not join this year because of his job, but he will be back next year.

Finally, to the riders who stayed on Monday, nature gave a nice gift: it has been a "powder carving" day! The well-groomed slopes were covered by 5 cm of very light snow. Such conditions are seldom, and we could carve all day long without piles of snow.

It's hard to believe that 3 days after this meeting, the temperature has risen sharply and a lot of sand from Sahara (carried by the winds) ruined most resorts in the Alps...
