Swoard organizza la terza tappa dello Swoard Demo Tour. Un evento interamente dedicato allo Snowboard, aperto a tutti: hardboot e softboot. Durante l'evento sarà possibile testare le Swoard Extremecarver Gen 5, Extremecarver Pro 2, Dual 2 e il nuovo modello softboots Stoke, assistere a dimostrazioni di Extreme Carving, e perfezionare la propria tecnica.
Un evento unico che riunisce appassionati ed esperti del settore, l'occasione per acquisire informazioni sulle tecniche di conduzione e condividere esperienze, per conoscere i segreti della manutenzione e del settaggio ottimale della tavola. Personale qualificato istruttori e professionisti, risponderanno alle vostre domande durante tutto il corso dell'evento.

Swoard Demo Tour - Pila - Val d'Aoste - Italie - 12-13 Mars 2022

Swoard organise la 3ème étape du Swoard Demo Tour. Un évènement ouvert à tous (hardboots et softboots) dédié à la pratique du carving.
Pendant l'évènement il sera possible de tester les Swoard Extremecarver Gen 5, Extremecarver Pro 2, Dual 2 et Stoke, d'assister à des démonstrations d'extremecarving, et de perfectionner sa technique.
Un évènement unique qui réunit les passionnés et experts du carving, l'occasion de discuter de la technique du carving et d'échanger expériences et conseils avec les autres participants. Les membres du team Swoard seront disponibles pour répondre à vos demandes concernant la technique ou le matériel.

Hi, I'm new on this forum and new to EC as well. Let me introduce myself first.
My name is Simon Smidt, I live in Belgium and tend to go on skiholidays around 3 to 4 times a year (before C).
I've started snowboarding 28 years ago on skiboots, and until this year I've used skiboots on different snowboards with racebindings. To my satisfaction, I must say as I've been a winner on the last 8 yearly air traffic control competitions in the snowboard slalom race. Mainly because I'm using a HOT Specialised 162
Since a month I've changed board and shoes and are now in possesion of a F2 Speedster RS 167, and Blax Vector shoes. I've used it last week in Val Thorens. Speed is no issue on this board, I went 97 km/h and now I would like to progress in carving, preferably in extreme carving.
But I need lessons!
Therefore I would like to take this Pila opportunity to take lessons, if possible?
So, would I be welcome in Pila with this request?

Maybe you have read this above:

Info will be published later.

There could be some private lessons (by an Italian instructor, speaking English too), but this has to be confirmed. And, there will be the usual clinics/tips given during the afternoons.
But if you study in details www.extremecarving.com, you will understand that the original extremecarving is not only a question of ride technique, but a whole philosophy with settings, modified hardboots (for better flexibility of the ankles), not stiff bindings laterally (flat, no canting, no lift, angles maximum 55°/47°) and of course wide alpine boards which are also designed to make "closed" turns in a smooth way on all slopes. Of course you can dig trenches with anything, ride at 130 km/h (like Antoine, a Swoarder), but it's not the main concept.
Thus, it could be better for you to participate in a camp, with several lessons and devoted gear. See for example the camps organized by Seb in this subject.
Of course you can join the community in Pila, so we could explain and show you many things, if you would like to discover an alternative to traditional alpine snowboarding. You could also test Swoard snowboards and feel the difference.
But again, visit www.extremecarving.com in details, see the FAQ of this Forum and read, for example, the excellent summary in the Carver's Almanac.

Spostamenti, arrivi e partenze

Dal 1° marzo 2022 entrano in vigore nuove disposizioni che semplificano l'ingresso nel territorio italiano, consentito presentando:

– digital Passenger Locator Form (PLF) in forma digitale o cartacea
– certificazione verde Covid-19 (Covid Green Pass) che attesta l'avvenuta vaccinazione, la guarigione o il risultato negativo al test antigenico rapido nelle ultime 48 ore o al test molecolare nelle ultime 72 ore (o altra certificazione di vaccinazione riconosciuta come equivalente dall'EMA).

Solo in caso di mancata presentazione di una delle certificazioni di cui sopra, si applica la misura della quarantena per un periodo di 5 giorni con l’obbligo di sottoporsi a test molecolare o antigenico al termine del periodo.

Ai fini dell’ingresso nel territorio nazionale, i bambini di età inferiore ai sei anni sono esentati dall’effettuazione del test molecolare o antigenico.

Per i viaggi fuori dall'Italia, i limiti sono decisi dai singoli Paesi e possono variare in base alla situazione epidemiologica. Prima di metterti in viaggio, informati sui siti dei governi dei Paesi di destinazione.

Misure di sicurezza

Sono vietati gli assembramenti. È obbligatorio mantenere una distanza di sicurezza interpersonalale di almeno un metro dalle persone non conviventi.
Obbligatorio usare sempre la mascherina al chiuso (anche nei viaggi in automobile in presenza di persone non conviventi) . Non sono più obbligatorie le mascherine all’aperto ma fino al 31 marzo 2022 occorre comunque sempre portarle con sé e indossarle all'esterno in caso di assembramenti e affollamenti.
Dall'obbligo di indossare la mascherina sono esclusi i bambini sotto i 6 anni, i soggetti con patologie e disabilità incompatibili con l'uso della mascherina, chi pratica attività sportiva.
Obbligo di indossare le mascherine di tipo FFP2 su tutti i mezzi di trasporto pubblico (fino al 31/03/2022).
Obbligo di indossare le mascherine di tipo FFP2 in occasione di spettacoli all’aperto e al chiuso in teatri, sale da concerto, cinema, locali di intrattenimento e musica dal vivo (e altri locali assimilati) e di eventi sportivi al chiuso o all’aperto (fino al 31/03/2022). In tutti questi casi è vietato il consumo di cibi e bevande al chiuso.
Vietato uscire in caso di sintomi influenzali o febbre (sopra i 37,5 ° C) o se si convive con persone che hanno sintomi riconducibili a Covid-19.
Si consiglia di lavarsi le mani frequentemente o di usare un disinfettante.

Arrivées et départs

Si vous venez en Vallée d’Aoste de l’étranger, consultez TOUJOURS les mises à jour sur les règles d'entrée, en fonction de votre pays d'origine, sur les sites du ministère de la Santé et du ministère des Affaires étrangères. Vous pouvez également vous orienter avec ce questionnaire (en anglais).

A partir du 1er mars 2022, de nouvelles dispositions entrent en vigueur qui simplifient l'entrée sur le territoire italien, qui est autorisée en présentant :

Formulaire numérique de localisation des passagers (PLF) sous forme numérique ou papier
Certification Verte Covid-19 (Covid Green Pass) qui couvre trois types de certificats :
- vaccination anti-SARS-CoV-2 (achèvement du cycle de vaccination)
- guérison de la COVID-19, avec cessation de l’isolement prescrit suite à l’infection de SARS-CoV-2
- négativité au test rapide d'antigène au cours des dernières 24 heures ou au test moléculaire (PCR) au cours des 48 dernières heures précédant l’entrée sur le territoire italien.

Au lieu de la certification verte COVID-19, il est également possible de présenter une certification délivrée par les autorités sanitaires compétentes certifiant la réalisation de la vaccination avec un vaccin validé par l'Agence européenne des médicaments (EMA).

En cas de non-présentation de l'une des attestations ci-dessus, la mesure de quarantaine est appliquée pendant une période de 5 jours avec obligation de se soumettre à des tests moléculaires ou antigéniques à la fin de la période.

Les enfants de moins de six ans sont dispensés d'effectuer le test moléculaire ou antigénique pour entrer en Italie.

Pour les voyages hors d’Italie, les limites sont décidées par chaque pays et peuvent varier selon l’évolution de l’épidémie. Avant de voyager, renseignez-vous sur les sites des gouvernements des pays de destination.

Mesures de securité

Les rassemblements sont interdits. Il est obligatoire de respecter la distance de sécurité d’au moins un mètre par rapport aux personnes non-cohabitantes.
Le port du masque est obligatoire dans les lieux fermés (même pour les voyages en voiture en présence de personnes non-cohabitantes). Il n'est plus obligatoire à l'extérieur mais jusqu'au 31 mars 2022 vous devez toujours avoir le masque avec vous et le porter à l'extérieur en cas de rassemblements et de foules. Cette obligation ne concerne pas les enfants de moins de 6 ans, les personnes sujettes à des pathologies et handicaps incompatibles avec le port du masque, ceux qui pratiquent des sports.
Obligation de porter des masques de type FFP2 sur tous les moyens de transports en commun.
Obligation de porter des masques de type FFP2 lors des spectacles en plein air, les spectacles dans les théâtres, salles de concert, cinémas, lieux de divertissement et de musique live (et autres lieux similaires) et lors des événements sportifs, en intérieur ou en extérieur. Dans tous ces cas, il est interdit de consommer de la nourriture et des boissons à l'intérieur.
Il est interdit de sortir en cas de symptômes de grippe ou de fièvre (au-delà de 37,5 °C) ou en cas de cohabitation avec des personnes ayant des symptômes pouvant être liés à la Covid-19.
Il est conseillé de se laver les mains fréquemment ou d’utiliser un désinfectant.

Instead of the green COVID-19 certification it is also possible to present a certification issued by the competent health authorities certifying the completion of vaccination with a vaccine validated by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

In the event of failure to submit one of the above certifications, the quarantine measure is applied for a period of 5 days with the obligation to undergo molecular or antigenic tests at the end of the period.

For entry into the national territory, children under the age of six are exempt from carrying out the molecular or antigen test.

Travel to / from the Republic of San Marino and the Vatican City State are not subject to restrictions.

For travels outside Italy, the limits are decided by individual countries and may vary according to the epidemiological situation. Before traveling, find out about on the websites of the destination countries.

Safety measures

Gatherings are forbidden. When meeting other people, a cover should be worn on the nose and mouth. In closed places, a distance of at least one metre between people must be maintained and the mask must always be worn (even when traveling by car in the presence of non-cohabiting people). It is no longer mandatory to wear masks outdoors but until 31 March 2022 you must always carry them with you and wear them outside in case of gatherings and crowds.
Children under 6 years, people with pathologies and disabilities incompatible with the use of the mask and those practicing sports are excluded from the obligation.
Obligation to wear FFP2 type masks on all means of public transport.
Obligation to wear FFP2 type masks during outdoor shows, indoor shows in theatres, concert halls, cinemas, entertainment venues and live music (and other similar venues) and during sporting events, at indoors or outdoors. In all these cases it is forbidden to consume food and drinks indoors.
It is recommended to wash hands frequently or to use a hand sanitizer.
It is forbidden to go out in case of flu symptoms or fever (above 37.5 ° C) or if you live with people who have symptoms attributable to Covid-19.
