Eine kleine Nachlese,
erst einmal hat es wieder saumäßig Spaß gemacht, die Pisten in Hintertür zu beackern und natürlich viele Freunde und neue Bekannte wieder zu sehen. das war nach der langen Zeit echt bitter nötig. Die Bedingungen auf den Pisten waren sehr gut und das Wetter der absolute Kracher. Da es sehr leer war, brauchte man sich auch wegen Corona nicht so viel Gedanken zu machen. Das war echt klasse. Wie immer an alter Stelle der Stand des Swoard-Teams, diesmal mit einem neuen Brett. Klasse, dass Patrice und Arnaud immer wieder an neuem Material frickeln. Danke an alle Organisatoren.
Ich hatte jetzt endlich auch mal die Gelegenheit, meine neuen EC-12 zu testen. Sie sind für das EC wirklich toll und bieten nochmal mehr Flex, als die alten RC10, die ich vorher hatte.
Leider war die gesamte Veranstaltung insgesamt etwas "zahnlos". Das gemeinsame Essen war durch eine ungünstige Platzverteilung (einfach zu wenig Platz für die Teilnehmer) und daduch, dass einige bereits früher dort waren und bereits beim Essen waren entzerrt. Irgendwie kam nicht so das Gemeinschaftsfeeling auf, irgendwann sind dann einfach alle gegangen. Es gab weder einen offiziellen Start, noch eine Ansprache und auch kein gemeinsames Foto. Ich bin großer Fan der Sportart und sehe immenses Potential, gerade auch, weil wir in Tux viele Blicke auf uns ziehen. Ich würde gerne mehr Interessenten dafür begeistern, die Bretter und die Technik auszuprobieren.
Ich würde mir in Zukunft für alle Anfänger mehr Kursmöglichkeiten wünschen, damit die auch beim Testen der Boards einen Mehrwert erkennen. Der Kurs von Petr war spitze, aber es waren viele Fahrer auf unterschiedlichem Level, dadurch saßen die Teilnehmer lange rum. Mehr Angebote wären super.
Ich denke es ist eine Persönlichkeitsfrage, aber ich glaube, dass sich viele Patrice und Arnaud mehr im Mittelpunkt der Veranstaltung wünschten, einen gemeinsamen Anfang, Fahren mit den "Gurus"., kleine Giveaways (Thema "Merchandising")für die Neuen zum Anfixen.
Ich freue mich auf jeden Fall schon auf das nächste Mal.

I agree on the good points, and also on the ones which can be improved. In my opinion, dinners in restaurants are always frustrating. Separated tables is not cool and this kills the contacts, making small groups (hey, it's not cool neither to start eating before everybody's there). I really prefer the dinner in Zinal for the "ExtremeCarving Session", in Sorebois or in the main hall: it is preceded by an "apero" where we are all standing, with the possibility to walk and meet more people. Well, it's a bit the situation which we have at the stand, but we don't stay all day long there.

We need another restaurant next year, with one big room for us only, and an atmosphere conductive to a speech, for example. I was so happy that we could meet despite the pandemic that I wanted to say some words. But the place was not appropriate. If we are up to 50 participants, it must be possible to find a room in a restaurant for us only. But the people must really register and join, so we know the exact number of persons.

Finally, regarding the lessons, now we need guys like you, Lambert. You are good and fluid: I like watching you. To spread EC we need that more volunteers start teaching/helping the others. Then we can organize groups. Personally, I gave so much of my life in 20 years that I begin to be tired of teaching. It's no longer my role. Time for the next generation!
