500 canadesi.

Hi Sean
Do you think that is possible to buy only the mechanism without the little board ?
Which could be the price?
It could be useful also for the shipment.
Thanks
Jacopo

We do sell hardware kits to go from 4x4 to UPM or vice Versa. These kits run $200 and include everything but the plate. If you are planning to use a cut up snowboard or make your own plate, please be aware that the 4X4 system requires that aluminum hardware be installed in the plate.

Quick note, shiping price for hardwarekit or even full set is not high due small size and possibility to use regular mail.

Ciao :) quanti modelli fa Oxess?
Io sapevo di questa.
Quella che hai messo tu pensavo che fosse artigianale made in New Zealand :)

I have/had same plan, but after seeing how stiff that Donek plate is have changed my ideas. I compared that to some boards i could cut and it is way stiffer.

When we manufacture the plate, there are aluminum plates laminated into the plate to support the screws. A wood core will not support the loads you'll be putting on the plate. You will need some sort of flat head washer to countersink into the board. I can not guarantee you any success with such a project. There are very large forces applied to the plate. A lot of thought and experience went into designing the plate and the hardware.
So I'll need to use an alluminim plate to meke the cutted board stiffer and more tough.
