Neve stupenda e pista tiratissima. 50 carvate a discesa.

dimenticavo...anche se non sono un vero appassinato di freeride qui ad andermatt mi sa che vale la pena farlo! la striscia nera che si vede sull'altro versante in realtà sono delle persone che si fanno quella salita in "walking mode" 8O

Alex

How many turns along la pistissima ?

I count in la Thuile on n°3 (Franco Berthod) : about 45-50 in one run :)

La pistissima (Russi Run) is very long black slope that start form 2963mt, it is divided in 5 sections, and the one that you can see on the last photo is the last section, i didn't count the turns but I think more than 50!
5/10 on the first section, 0 ec on the second because is too flat, 20 on the third, 5/10 on the fourth that seems to be an Half-Pipe and 20 or more on the last section that is the steepest
The ski -area is big but is not well linked, so in winter there are too many people in the Gemsstock sub-area and you could wait too much in queue ...but from March to end of April is the best time because the snow is very hard in the morning and there are few people (excluding the week of pasqua)
