Ciao Italian Carvers,

I´m coming to Madonna di Campiglio in beginning of february. Any advice what is the best route from Bergamo? Motorway to Trento or some smaller road?

Snowchains needed I think.

Hi there are 3 options, I usually go to val di sole that is 30' from M.Di Campiglio and in this case I prefer Bergamo-> Lovere-> Tonale-> Dimaro->M.Di Campiglio, but also the highway (Brennero exit S.Michele) is a good option but more expensive! In your case I believe the these are the best option in decreasing order.

I never need the Snowchains to go there, usually the road are in good condition...if you are still looking for an hotel I could suggest you hotel selva in Folgarida (you can say that is suggested from me...maybe you've a discount ) Folgarida is linked by slopes to M.di Campiglio.

Remember to visit Pinzolo, one of the best carving spot...read the report on Italian forum

Route A seems to be fastest, maybe that then. Allready booked a hotel, so no need for that discount
Pinzolo must be visited too, google translator in hard use..
Trip on 4-11.2.2012, anybody sees stranger on coiler or kessler are most welcome to chat
