Je cherche un Swallowtail Snowboard
It's a long shot, but I'm looking for a secondhand/used powder stick, something like a 185 cm Swell Panik or Apo Swallowtail or similar, if anyone has one sitting around they're not using!? Anything considered.
Thanks
Thanks
undertaker
hi nils
thanks for your message.
do you have any more info on this board - dimensions, picture or weblink?
I suspect it is too big for me, ideally I would like something versatile which I can use everywhere off piste - in gullies and trees as well as on wide open faces.
Do you know how the undertaker rides?
Thank you.

This is my board too
Using first time this year in ski touring on my backpack - really a weapon in powder (have a look on photo with my nickname ) on this topic Powdersnow-Season - 2008-2009 - watch photos at Val thorens.
Only one point , a swallow must be long if you don't want such a board , keep your freeride one , a swallow is generated to have hight speed in powder you only can have it with a good length - sorry !
If you choose an Undertaker it must be the 198 (black one) not a 185.
I have also O'sin 4807 in 168 & 178 but for my weight 85/90 kg the Undertaker is better ( i am tall 1.85 m also )
Never used a Swall panick , or Dupraz D1 , my Freeride board is a Dynastar Delerue 166.
I used step-in or hard boots ( Dynafit Toulite ) but never soft boots with the Undertaker.
I think but not sure that an Apo is very similar to the Undertaker not the same core but the shape seems very clear, no idea about Boheme one.
Good luck

Swallows
the apo is a different shape: the last A swallow was the same mold as the rossi 185, but since under the Apo name, its a new shape.
What happened is Rossi 's shaper: Bob, did the first undertaker 198, then after a few seasons it went to 185 before disappearing.
As for ST length, it is indeed better in big sizes, but i've ridden the 183 phenix, as well as my 185 magistral in tighter situations where it is very efficient, better than a normal freeride !
