Flex can be tuned. This is more a question of fit than anything else. And the UPZ shell is shaped quite differently from the symmetrical Deeluxe shell. You can only try them and see if they fit better.

An interesting question, and I googled around a bit. It seems that DM 800,- in 1999 money translates to about EUR 320,- in today's money. So yes, the boots were cheaper then. Of course, the alpine market was a lot bigger (there were more hardbooters), and the competition was stiffer - there were not...

I do not know about metal and carbon boards. In truth, I do not know how long glass boards last, either: I have glass boards that still have camber and life in them after 200+ days. I think with a glass board you will use up the edges before the board gives up.

ich trenne mich von allen Snowpro-Teilen, die ich noch besitze. Das Paket besteht aus 1 Paar Bindungen Snowpro Race, Größe M/L, komplett (auf dem Bild die mit den gelben Dämpfungsgummis) 1 Paar Bindungen Snowpro S-Race, Größe M/L, 1 Fersenschlitten fehlt 2 Cantingkeile 1 Lift Sämtliche Schrauben etc...

Und falls der Weg zur Slackline mal zu weit ist: meine Beste hat bei ihren Rückenproblemen gute Erfahrungen mit so einem MFT-Brett gemacht.

Bei meinen Knien habe ich meinerseits gute Erfahrungen gemacht mit:
- Radfahren
- Stiegensteigen
- Craniosakraler Therapie
- Bandagen (Bauernfeind Genutrain)

The fit of the 3 basic boot shapes (Deeluxe symmetrical, Deeluxe asymmetrical, UPZ) is very different. Forget money. Go for the best fit for your feet. You are either going to buy the boots that fit you best, or you will regret it.

Yes, they have a spring system. However, at 70 kg I find the stock springs rather stiff - and of course the stroke is very short compared to aftermarket systems.
