The RS isn't softer than the Silberpfeil, it has a totally different flex pattern. The nose of RS is much softer and the middle part of RS is stiffer. So RS handles bumpy slopes better and also the nose diving isn't as bad as Silberpfeil does. For EC I prefer the RS, besides Swoard naturally!

Yes, my other boards are narrower, e.g. F2 Speedster RS 19.5cm (7.7inch) with 65°/60°. The thing with the torsional twist could be a reason and I even have the feeling, that I don't apply backward pressure equally on both feet. So the nose wants to do a tighter turn than the tail and wobbles. Perhap...

I don't think the board chatters, that happens on higher load and the frequency is faster. Wobbling is the better expression and I only feel it on easy carved turns with moderate inclination. Making real turns, wobbling isn't a problem, then it sometimes happens, mostly on frontside, that I lose edg...

strange backside behaviour

Hi I have a strange beaviour with my swoard 175S on easy carved backside turns. The nose doesn't take the clear turn radius, the curve is overlapped by a snake line. difficult to describe, have a look at the picture. I never had this phenomena on all my other boards, but on swoard I had it from the ...

yeah, your absolutely right, in the hope for a new boot I just forgot to tell you, sorry.

meanwhile my Indy is a little bit to large, but it still works and the virus isn't an alternative. I hope there will be a virus redesign with a higher shell!

Danke

The RAB is not on the Virus boot, I modified it on my Indy.

Here are the pictures to the description above. The dimensions of the alu piece are 24*14*12mm, the offeset between boot fixation bolt and bolt for the spring is 12mm.

Instead of the original bent threaded bolt, i took a normal threaded bolt and a little block of aluminium. In this block are a 5mm hole for attachment to the boot and a M8 treaded hole for the M8 bolt. With this construction I can realize a bigger offset between bolt and boot and the jam of the RAB ...

I also tested the Virus Boot at schmid velosport. First impressen, the boot is very light and short, compared to my Indy. The buckles are a bit notchy (hakelig) and for fine adjustment not always easy to turn. For my feet the boot is in front foot area too big, the fixation of the heel is very well....
