EC Simplified
Hello Tali Thank you for taking the time to respond. I think perhaps the question in my previous post was not worded clearly enough. My question was not about the weight shift in general, but specifically the 'Longitudinal Work' demonstration, drill, exercise that Ben placed in the video. In a round...

Teaching Video
Great job on the teaching video and fantastic riding Ben, very nice to watch! A video like this, to me, shows how the EC discipline is slowly and steadily maturing. It continues to be amazing to me how a decade after J & P launched the EC site that did such a great job of teaching, sharing and demon...

PK
Mark, thank you for the kind words!
Seeing you and your team rip it up at PK is something that would definitely inspire this old guy, funny how things always come full circle:) Your team members are lucky to have a passionate guy like you in their corner.
See you at the Elevator Shaft!

Thanks!
Hey Mark!
Thanks for the post, I enjoyed the videos!
It is really cool to see that you have followed your passion, sure is a long way from 'back in the day' at Powder King!
Hard to believe that we used to look as young as your riders in the video!
Cheers and best of luck with your team.

Range of Motion
Hello As Harald said it is difficult to tell, but I would like to suggest my best guess. When modifying your boots/springs it is possible that the range of motion of the boots/springs exceeds the natural range of motion of your ankle? With normal riding all is fine, but when you hit hard chatter the...

Dreamer
Hey Peter
I can hardly drag my ass out of bed these days, let alone across the pond. I am one of those weekend guys who dreams of this, then gets in the car to drive my kids to their practice. Maybe I'll get there one of these years.
Great to hear from you.

Flat vs Steep
I see a lot of potential and many good things happening:) I would suggest taking several runs on a slope that is flat enough that you can just let the board run without fear of going a 1000km/hr after 2 or 3 turns; this way you can concentrate on the leg bend on one turn, then the rotation on the ne...

Great Event
Each season I look forward to the annual EC thread that makes it possible to hear and see the EC event. Thank you to all the riders who take a moment to stop riding, get their camera(s) out and post their efforts for all to enjoy; not always an easy thing to do! It really is a pleasure to watch all ...

F2 Carve RS Bindings
Hey Rob how do you like the f2 carve rs binders and what is your set up? I am very happy with the F2 Carve RS bindings, for me personally they have the perfect feel laterally for the type of freeriding technique I like to use. I use my Northwave Point 900 boots with the springs modified to my weigh...

Weekend Warrior
Hi Hans Nice to hear from you. Wow, your words are too kind. I wish I was as good a rider as your kind words, but I fear that I am getting older, am not in good enough shape to ride all day long and I don't get out to the mountains enough because of my busy family life with kids; this is why I see m...

DUAL - Review
Impressions out of the Box This past week my new 175 Swoard Dual arrived, beautiful top sheet and first class fit and finish. When flexing the board, by grabbing the nose of the board and pushing your hand on the middle of the board, the flex seemed pretty soft. I am guessing that many riders will ...

Plate System and ECing
Good question(s). I do not currently own a plate so I can only speculate how it applies to ECing. Here is my speculation. I think the three main questions of a plate system and ECing probably are: 1) Will the added plate height create forces that are too great when a wider board is used? 2) How will...

Still Waiting for the White Stuff
Wow!
Seems that Northern BC is a few weeks behind the Alps with regards to snow coverage. We have had a lot of rain in the past two weeks, I even mowed my lawn for the last time this past Saturday. www.powderking.com says that the snow is now starting to stay on the mountain.

The NEXT Swoard
This question is just for fun. If Jacques and the Swoard team were to develop a third board what type of board design would you get you excited enough to make you really want to own it? Let's hear what your dream board order to Swoard would be. Provide the reader with the boards' basic purpose, it's...
