Re: saturday 18 at corvatsch
tomorrow i will be at corvatsch...with a friend of mine (a skier :? ) who want to come is welcome! I think that tomorrow there will be wonderful condition to do EC. bye Why don't you go to Diavolezza or Lagalb, especially Lagalb is steep and uncrowded, much better than the top part of Corvatsch, I'...

just to understand each other, u even suggest a swoard for my first hours on hard gear?? yes, good idea (I thought you're looking for something else than a swoard) for sure, ec is easier an a swoard and the swoard works even better on bumpy or soft slope, also in powder it does a good job compared ...

that's a good idea, but it's just impossible to rent race gear!h3in3k3n wrote:i just thought about "learning" ec on rental equip and then testing some boards until i do my final decision........ what about that?
Buy a board on ebay and practise. for that you don't need a custom board like virus, kessler....

you wanna do ec, right? don't go for the SP, waist width is too small (binding angle), the radius ist too short, its behaviour is sometimes insidious and it loves nose digging, or do you like front loops? ok, that sounds almost a bit too negative. since you are boarding so many years, I'm sure after...

height is a problem too, because your center of gravity is higher and the lever to the board gets longer, so it's more difficult to stay centered on a short board, you know what I mean? sure a 183 RS is long, but the nose is really soft and for me the swoard 175 feels longer! I'm 185 and 70kg, my sw...

I never rode a Speedster SL, but I own an GTS, I started boarding with this stick, it's short 158 with a small 9m sidecut. well, it's not bad for carving, but it does not allow higher speed and the turns are really short, lay down deep is very difficult, I haven't used it for several years. For ever...
