Re: How to make skiers ride safer?

I think skiers are not problem, rather carvers due they need more space. SLopes are designed to be slided directly downhill without doing any real turns, and carvers are braking that rule :naughty: True. Carvers are making exactly the same annoying wide turns all over the slope ski classes make. Yo...

Re: How to make skiers ride safer?

I don't think it's a skier problem. This is just a guy that is not experienced enough.

Re: CARVING MAGAZINE UPDATE

Good looking website. Too bad only PayPal and creditcard payments, both aren't used much in The Netherlands. I think my girlfriend has a credit card somewhere, so I'll manage. Hmmm, kind of high price for a mag EUR 25.-- (incl. shipping). True. But a lot of imported magazines are pretty expensive in...

Re: Blax Heidi

What does it look like with the system off? I had a pair of Blax that couldn't accept anything that were looking similar like yours (but with a three way switch instead of your switch).

Re: Edge Sharpening - Extremecarver and Dual

1/89 seems more easy to achieve, otherwise the underside would be very difficult to sharpen. I think I'll stick with that.

Is there any way to find out what the current or factory angles are on a board? Or just guess?

Re: Hot blast 167

Is this also one of the "French racer" batch from a few years ago?
Would have bought it if I didn't already have two Hot's. These boards are indestructible - look at the extra inforced inserts area.

Re: Different Styles

There is no right or wrong in this case, you have people that need to get as fast as possible around a slalom and there's people that want to take carving to the extreme. Two different goals, and as a result two different styles. There is no old or new, rotation is really old as well. The reason I'm...

Re: Head Stratos Pro

My set is also on the boot, but I didn't remove all the other plastics yet. It was still a bit stiffer then Indy's with yellow/yellow BTS and some plastics removed. I think one aspect of the BTS I really liked was still being able to set the forward lean, I kind of miss it with ACSS. I was getting u...

Re: NEWBIE ALERT!!! Spring stiffness recommendations

The boots have not been changed in any way since at least four years. Usually they change the colour of the plastics at least every other season just for fashion's sake. So I think you might be getting boots that are actually already four years old. Is there any way to identify different batches? I ...
