`````````The shell: MOD I
By the system, I mean:, 1 -> properly mounted springs , 2 -> and [/b] the shell mod. So far, everybody knows how the springs work, now things begin to complicate... The shell itself doesn't really allow for far foreward movement, which is crucial to proper EC technique. So the shell needs to be modi...
I was using the modified RAB last Year... But there was no spring for the backside, so when the ideal morning surface was damaged, the real spring system was needed... I've modified the RAB because the original one was locking the spring in foreward position... And now I can clearly see, that far mo...
Currently we have 2 systems. One is BTS, and the other is ACSS. The original ACSS was not put into Deeluxe shell, because the shell is asymmetric and there are different lenghts and angles, so the specific construction of spring system was needed. BTS is nice and beautiful, but anything made on CNC ...
First carving, later extreme-carving. The idea is pretty the same, the difference is how low you lay during the turn :-) I did have very stiff hard shells (Burton Megaflex) and Oxygen ProtonSL, which was +10kg overweighted, no springs at all, weather was + 4 celsius degr, it was Madonna Di Campiglio...
Still wondering if it were Jacques and Patrice.... :huh: :think: :-) Sure they were! Back then I think there were not so many boarders that could do continiously laid turns. As far as I can remember top racers always had at least one photo with fully laid turn. Usually in perfect conditions, sunny ...
Long ago in 1995 somewhere there in Santa Christina, being on a family vacation I've saw it for the first time... Two guys were making exact circles on their edges all the way down... I was looking from the above while coming up on the ski lift. This I saw and then I've become addicted. Few years la...
When I watch Swoard fathers on the snow, I can imagine that plate is not really needed -> sometimes it seems that nothing can stop them from laying down there... . And Yes, we can clearly see that EC without a plate is perfectly possible. So why would we want to pay and put them in? I'm very curious...
