Seems interesting to have some pics when your SW will be avaible...(I have to waiting for SW spare parts) Here's the picture of the TD3-ish TD2. All I did was to grind some part of the TD2 baseplate to accomodate TD3 sole blocks and lugs. I could've used this baseplate to attach SW sole blocks, sav...

Wow, a renewed attack from EC crew regarding step-in  Anyway, I believe the prototype has been used by one of their pro team, Mark Trapp as well (http://www.bomberonline.com/community/trappy.cfm). He bindings have matching toe clips and sole blocks. Yup, I ordered one. Guess it was very wise of...

I've tried both Swoard Extremecarver and ATV on powder... and what can I say? They both SINK. Probably I'm not good enough to ride powder with the alpine snowboards, but I found that freeride snowboards were much better for the job you're looking for. And your board is narrower than the two boards I...

TD3 toe bail
I love the toe clips. And both toe and heel blocks have hard stops, so they're not floppy anymore. And toe clips won't go over the edge and get jammed. I was lucky enough to secure some titanium heel bails (before Fin stopped making these). Fits perfectly. TD3 is such an awesome product... Can't wai...

One of the guys at Excarving.com posted his modification of AF600.
http://www.excarving.com/jaryu/jaqna_v. ... ontact=yes
(Note: if I were him, I would've created a hole above the cut he made on heel part of the upper shell so that the crack would not spread)

It takes about 6 to 7 hours to fly to Sydney, not to mention I have to drive for at least 2.30 hours to go to the airport. Then it's another 2 to 5 hours from airport to ski resort. In total, at least 12 hours to just to get to the ski resort... I'm planning on settling in either Queenstown or Wanak...

Modifying BTS
I also modified BTS system to allow better flexion of boots and may also help prevent BTS from being snapped at the heel part.
I have cut some parts of BTS... now I can flex my boots a bit more.
Please note that this WILL void warranty... do at your own risk!

You can use bull point tool (that's what I used) and hammer to hammer the pins out. http://www.amazon.com/Bosch-Steel-Bull-Point-HS1913/dp/B0009H5MAM/ref=pd_bxgy_hi_text_c You need to use narrow bull point tool that can go through holes, as you sometimes need to hammer the pins TWICE in order to com...

My guess is that Dual is an alpine snowboard with freeride-inspired shape (round tail and nose with slightly wider waist) utilizing ATC matrix. That's what I think, if the first half of the film "Carved" servees is an indication. I was looking at the board and the setup Jacques was using in that fil...

starikashka, I've read your message, thank you, but I do not believe it happens frequently enough that this becomes problem. Indeed, I tried to find related post in bomberonline forum but failed to find. I know enough about stress fracture... I work with that problem enough, due to my job  No,...

The picture you posted is to make indy flex more when extending the knees. You can see that after tuning, a rider would be able to extend knees more freely because shell would become more flexible on heelside movement. Track 700, on the other hand, does not need tuning for that... it is already as f...
