Re: Raichle SB 323 vs Deeluxe track 325t

Yeah, funny thing is, I have both track 700 and 225 but not 325. Maybe the plastic of 123 has hardened? With 225 and BTS yellow spring the boots were a bit too soft for my taste (so that I stiffened the tongue). 123, slightly softer than 700 but I was happy enough so that I ended up not buying 325. ...

Re: Raichle SB 323 vs Deeluxe track 325t

I'm using Raichle 123 with ACSS and I'm quite happy. As far as I know, track 325 and your boots have almost identical shell. Probably the only differences are the the colour and the buckles. If I were you, I wouldn't bother as long as you're happy with the current boots. I used Palau and zipfit line...

Re: Plates... Naked truth :-)

I tried plate with dual 158 and the result was... interesting. But increased height and weight were quite noticeable when super quick edge chage was required. I'm designing extrememly low, lightweight plate with direct connection with td3 sole blocks using TD2 baseplate (so that the total height wou...

Re: NEWBIE ALERT!!! Spring stiffness recommendations

@ vizsyn I've been using TD2 and TD3SW with modified zero-degree cant disks (3mm off from the top) for the last 5 years without any problem. But I didn't do it myself; I let professional engineer do it for me! I'm a bit heavier than you (68kg), but I don't know about how aggressive you are, I'm not ...

Re: 50th birthday present

I'd love to send you the Swoard, but it's currently sitting in my skipad in NZ.

If you ever come to NZ, you can try swoard, 168M. I've got a spare binding (td3) as well so all you need to bring is your own boots.

Re: Head Stratos Pro

My feet measures 25.5 (and wide!) and I've been using size 24 Raichle 123 boots. Ordered head stratos 24.5 boots and hopefully they will fit! Later I might try upz as well... Will definitely install ACSS as well... Hardbooting without spring system is unthinkable for me... Tried conventional lock sy...

Re: ACSS - Advanced Carving Spring System for Deeluxe

I recon the only prob with Deeluxe ACSS is that the flex is not customizable... with BTS you can adjust toeside flex by using different springs and also adding tension...

But then again, how many people do really need such customizations?

Re: Bindings Question:Bomber TD3/TD3 Sidewinder, suitable fo

I love it. Heelside turn becomes very smooth.

I recommend shaving 3mm off the cant disk.

Disadvantages include weight, really fiddly for those with boot size 25 or less (I'm size 24 and it's really hard to centre the boot to the binding), cost.

Re: Feedback on the Swoard DUAL

Just back from a trip to NZ..... I am very impressed with the DUAL I purchased from you (a 175). Not only holds an edge at speed for large carving turns but I was impressed with how quickly it transitioned from edge to edge considering its size and relative width. Thanks - will recommend it to all ...

Bindings of note: Nidecker legend - rebranded 900. Heard only good things about it. Flow NXT - easy entry, unimpressed with build quality. Catek FR2 (especially the ones with carbon highback) - probably the stiffest softboot binding in existence, very expensive and almost impossible to get (company ...
