Catek's: are lighter than any other prper bindings currently. They are very solid and great bindings. But in reality you can not reliable use only king pin when switching board. One can get 700's with 200 euros, so by spending some money fo softer spring, instead getting 600's which you can not get stiff anyway, is worth of every penny.Plus you need to spend ceratin ammount to get them fixed for spring anyway. Scott versus Sword pic
Is it optical phenomen or just setup issue but it looks that on Scott binding are raelly set up much more backwards ?? That might also be reason why riding feeling is totally different compared what you were used, plus naturally those deeper angles too (any way they are still quite modest :D ). But ...
