it's true, all bindings break. i have a habit of cracking f2 intec toe blocks. waiting for someone to stock the CNC aluminium ones.

all resorts open, and i can't get the car out of my street. grr.

if you boys are coming up to play this year, you might want to bring a large-radius GS board with you just for plate fun. apparently winter proper will begin around the 27th. which means frozen hardpack at nevis and cairngorm. :D

lunchtime

snowing really hard. poor visibility. not too bad if you know where you're going. skiable all the way to the carpark. oh and everywhere apart from the M1 is DEEP powder top-to-bottom :D

Pokkis is quite right. Cairngorm is one of 5 small ski centres in Scotland. None of them are big or can compare to the Alps but they are fun and have lifts. I have learned (from Keiran) that one of the runs at Cairngorm called The White Lady which has been to steep to piste is getting pisted this s...
