Yes apparently they're quite soft: but it doesn't matter so much because some of my friends are riding them without much complains even on icy slopes. Some prefer UPZ though and some even old models of Raichle... I think it is more in the technique than in the shoes.

Nils - dommage que cela n'était pas il y a deux ans - on pourra skier ensemble car on est allés en Vercors très souvent. Maintenant on a essayé Verbier et Ovronnaz, pistes assez bonnes la foule pas bonne du tout:-)

I would say that even with a small overhang you're not likely to suffer loss of adhesion in the curves because most of the time your board is not that much inclined to the slope - I'm talking about race board, not EC. There the board is almost perpendicular to the slope. But watch some races. I pers...

blue-tomato.at used to have the liners sold separately for a modest price of 100 Euros - a price that I paid for Hans' Raichle AF T600 with thermoflex liners, almost new... try ebay

I was just saying that MY Wild Duck season was 1997 - 2001... Wild Duck boards were manufactured even earlier for sure:-) And once you're Swiss I understand you had a Swiss board!

For me Wild Duck seasons were 1997 - 2001.
