Re: Splitboard et hardboots 2019
Salut Nils

Re: hardboots for EC: another approach
Yes I have a few sets available.
You'd better use Backland for EC, with the LPSS system it's the shorter boot you can have.
Send me PM

Re: hardboots for EC: another approach
Hawx xtd and Backland (carbon or not) have the same system, "frictionless pivot", the hawx are just longer. Without a spring system they will not be helpfull for carving both. With a spring system instead of the original hook Backland are softer and will give you more frontside flex than the Hawx. I...

Never done such a thing, sorry.
But why remove the frictionless pivot? It's the best sytem i've ever seen

Re: Thinking about new boots - have a question
With thermo liners if you are ok with 29 mondo after molding them it should be ok. It seems that red/white and black 700 are similar but I never test them. If the shells of your Suzuka works well, an alternative could be done: just change your liners for new palau overlap and save money for instalin...

Re: New Hybrid Soft/Hard Boot [Deeluxe Ground Control]
Don't know what to think about these hybrid concept  Like Pietro I think I would prefer My Atomics with the LPSS spring system for carving, but if Deeluxe need testers i am volunteer :hello: The Nils 's drawing: Nils_boots.jpg This is the strarting point of my reflection on modifying AT boots...

Re: hardboots for EC: another approach
It's a bit difficult to explain. On classic boots (UPZ, Head and Deeluxe)you have a mechanical rear stop on heel side that allows you to keep a good angle, vertical or a bit inclined to the toe side while backside turning. The heel side spring on these shells don't work on there whole range, with a ...
