Without any prejudice, what makes you think that the Head Stratos Pro is the technically most advanced boot of the available 3 brands? I do not see any major technological difference between these boots. Shells, buckles and liners last the same long, none of them have a really well engineered spring...

Narrow boards = high angles = heel lift & cant + toe lift & cant. Unless you are cross-legged, bow-legged, half-legged.... Avatar: oh yeah! Vahur is the best extremecarver and extremecarving photographer and every year he provides us with the best raw material to create new avatars. It took me quite...

I think this is a valid question, so let's elaborate a bit more on this. :!: Most of the people with average bio-mechanics feel comfortable standing in stride with having 3-6 degrees difference between the 2 feet (like a duck). You might be different though, being extremely cross-legged or bowlegged...

Agree. 20 days a season will help you to get to a decent level and to keep in shape. Also agree on the tactics: - buy presents for your wife and give it to her when you return from snowboarding. Ever heard of Pavlov's dog? It'll work. - tell your employer that snowboarding is something beyond ration...

Okay tkc, being at 40 you should now show us your pics and vids... Anyhow, I think noone got offended here being called (practically) an old fart... ripping the hill into two and being an old fart at the same time I think is elevating. We all know that hardbooting and especially EC ...

I see. So tell me guys then where and under what circumstances you would prefer to ride a narrower board? And I'm not talking here extremely narrow, skwal type of stuff, what I mean is just a bit below the current WC trend, so say instead of the 20cm WC boards, where and when do you ride something a...

Well, some people might hate me for saying this, but on crowded slopes the type of board that is easy to handle is a relatively short and narrow slalom type of board with a short radius. Fast edge to edge, turning on a small radius - that is what you need when you have to dodge many people. I think ...
