Hi Denis, you have got me thinking. I am really looking for a 185, but I am now wondering what the 175 is like. Why are you selling and what is the new price?

Scottish Skiing

Pokkis is quite right. Cairngorm is one of 5 small ski centres in Scotland. None of them are big or can compare to the Alps but they are fun and have lifts. I have learned (from Keiran) that one of the runs at Cairngorm called The White Lady which has been to steep to piste is getting pisted this se...

La Plagne. Instructor's and riding buddies

I am off to La Plagne at the end of January for a week and again for another week from the 19th of Feb. Does anyone know of any good hardboot instructors in La Plagne or even Les Arcs. I have been riding for 25 years but I fancy some lesson's to see if I have picked up any bad habits(highly possible...

Sierra Nevada

Has anyone boarded at Sierra Nevada. I am busy planning next years trips and fancy trying somewhere new. Of course the pilgrimage to Zinal is booked and a trip to Les Arcs but I am looking for somewhere at the beggining of April and a beach/snow trip sounds appealing. If anyone has info about Sierra...

Saas Fee

Hintertux is good but I would recommend Saas Fee even though I have not been there (if guys like Fivat recomend it it will bee good). My reasoning is the chf being better value than th €. I was in Verbier two seasons ago, and even though it is known to be an expensive resort it was way cheaper than ...

happy for you to be happy

I am glad you like your picture Alex. Vahur got two of me which are great, one of them is now my desktop picture. Thanks again to Vahur, I have not had any pictures of me riding for years, I am normally taking them of my kids skiing and boarding. Use the picture however you want Alex and that goes f...

Here are some images I took on Saturday, they are no where near the quality of Vahur's, which are fantastic. I have none of Sunday as I was unable to ride(even my soft boots) due to my shin bang. Enjoy.

Thanks

Thanks Nils, i have tried your method but to no avail and you are quite correct I do have sharp shin bones. I think I need to try new boots. I rode all day today with strapping, neoprene strips and pain killers it still hurt(see picture) but it was worth it. Zinal rocks.

Yes those are the culprits. I have always used stiff boots, but maybe in my old age my legs cannot take it anymore. I should maybe take up kick boxing to toughen up my legs!
