F2 Speedster SL; slalom board F2 Speedster RS: giant slalom board F2 Speedster GTS: carving board with slalom shape, not produced any more difference between speedster RS and Silberpfeil: both have a good edge hold even on ice (SP is a bit better on ice). they have a very different flex pattern, RS ...

The 172 Silberpfeil feels even soft under my feet and I'm a flyweight. With a conshox plate mounted it's good for narrow slopes. I think you certainly don't have the smallest feet, so the narrowness (18.5cm) of the Silberpfeil could be a problem too. recommendation: swoard, that's clear, but a stiff...

gloves and durability? you can't reconcile these two things! for me only Sikaflex works, usually I apply a new layer every week and my Snowlife gloves last a season. An other advantage of Sikaflex, it glides better on the snow than normal glove materials. Ok, it doesn't look great and smells like a ...

Pictures of the slopes on Diavolezza and Lagalb. The black one on Lagalb, called Couloir, is as steep as the famous one in Zinal.

Greets from St. Moritz

Hello

this week we (me and my sister mirjam) are training ec-technique at Diavolezza/Lagalb. After a few days of snowfall and very bad sight, today the weather and slopes were just perfect, see below:

Hello I absolutely agree with roger, that the speedster RS 183 (I also have one and love it) is a great board, but planeteer looks for a speedster GTS. My GTS is a 1998 model of the length 158, it's mainly a slalom board optimized for carving with a small sidecut radius (about 9m). The board behaves...

That are just the curves themselves, but fitted to the same middle and end points. The radius is much too tight, otherwise you really can't see any difference.

My question is how this curves are applied to the board and how the board reacts.

I played with some formulas of ellipse, circle, parabola and plotted a few curves to visualize this topic. Have a look at the plot:
