Thinking that you can get good Raichles at 150 euros and very good ones 200 euros so take that as price reference. For me Shodow feel much too simple ie you dont have pretty much any adjustment possibilities with them, but if price is right ie less than 50 or so it is not catastrophic  y deal

You can use also 700's boots with extended adjustment srew thread as instructed here earlier. I did that modification with softer springs, results were extremely good ones.

audacium: "Remember, e.g., if one has to stop immediately one uses a hard turn with counter rotation." Sorry but i dont get this ? If i need to stop quickly, i really do rotational hard turn cause that is safest and quickest way to turn quickly. Racers do occasionally what ever needed to do to survi...

Catek's: are lighter than any other prper bindings currently. They are very solid and great bindings. But in reality you can not reliable use only king pin when switching board. But other hand they are more flexible on adjustment side than anything existing currently. Also they are as bomb proof as ...

That is something i tried to say there above. Original "soft" spring is much too stiff and also to get full out of these otherwise great boots is extending thread as explained here already before.
Atleast for me biggest issue was too stif "soft" spring.

One can get 700's with 200 euros, so by spending some money fo softer spring, instead getting 600's which you can not get stiff anyway, is worth of every penny.Plus you need to spend ceratin ammount to get them fixed for spring anyway. ONLY issue with 700's i have is that they dont have walikng posi...

I'm having Deeluxe 700's with new softer spring and they are not too stiff any more. And good thing is that just by switching spring i can get them back to race mode.
EDIT: To clarify, i'm using much softer spring than either of originals, which i felt much too stiff.

SITO, you need to take first lift in the morning to get up, that way you are also first to come down and have space OR you need to be riding during weekdays. This is same way here in many slopes too

Scott versus Sword pic

Is it optical phenomen or just setup issue but it looks that on Scott binding are raelly set up much more backwards ?? That might also be reason why riding feeling is totally different compared what you were used, plus naturally those deeper angles too (any way they are still quite modest :D ). But ...
