Hola my friend, long time no hear. :hello: Do you mean to jump into the pow and field of rocks right at the exit of the lift? Oh no, I'd never dare to do that, but I know an Italian guy being the master of the faceplants offpist.... hmm what's his name  begins with "Fra" and end with so...

Yep, but Le Col does not begin with such a sudden steep part... if you remember where the slope starts it is rather flat and then it becomes steeper 20 meters later....

No, this is really a backside jump. Location is Switzerland / Zinal / Slope Barthelemy (right, Alex?). This is where the slope starts and it is a great fun to enter the "depth" with a jump from a completely flat plateau. Now Alex is especially lucky, because he is goofy, so while for the rest...

I think the way forward in the progression of bindings with good lateral flex is something like the TD3 Sidewinder. To me that engineered flex looks more trustable than riding an old burton race plate that can explode any moment.... But that is just me, I know that even pro riders ride those old and...

It's all about the lateral flex. At lower angles a flexible / lose binding will be supportive to your riding, while at higher angles it will be rather counter productive. Just think about it.

So what's the moral of the story? version 1: Schneewurm found a solution to get rid of long queues at lifts. 3-4 people should take 1 T-bar, that would reduce waiting time by 50%. version 2: There are some girls who can handle 33cm alone, while in most of the cases 33 cm is actually enough for 2.......

I'll be very sad if I find myself there and my lonely groomers are not there. Or even worse, the empty groomers are there, but my snowboards got lost on the way....

Then I think I'll call "The Manager" and will file a complaint immediately...

It's pretty much off-topic, but watching these videos I think you'll get yourself banned from that small slope..... unless you are the owner.....

Nice bike. I ride a full stock Yamaha R1, no modifications, I'm just a hobby race tracker.... this weekend I've tested an MV Augusta F4, man, that felt like a real race bike. Everything was so stiff, and the bike felt really small... smaller than a 600cc.....

Great vid, fun to watch. Maybe the skier you almost killed had a different opinion.

What were the rules when you two did the racing? Or just no rules at all? If it was about who gets down first, why did not you just straightline? The slope does not look steed / fast at all.

Cheers
