My weight is 73 kg and my size is 182 cm. I'm really confused because i don't know what to do. Someone is talking, that the hard boots are better for beginners and someone otherwise. :/ What should I do? The board is a bit on the short side, but will do for now. People can carve really well in soft...

With an alpine stance usually people add some splay between binding angles, like 5-10 degrees. But people also use same binding angles sometimes, or more than 10 degrees of splay. It depends on your build, and you have to find out what's best for you. If you are a bit knock-kneed or bowlegged you ob...

The weltcup piste was very nice, also ran into a very good instructor from the Gunzesried side of the mountain nicknamed 'Ali'. He's usually at the Ofterschwang base station 08:30 for first tracks, just tap him on his shoulder if you want a lesson.

I just got back from Soelden and was completely dissappointed by what i`ve seen there. Almost all hardbooters were riding like turtles. There were just two guys out of about 30 spotted hardbooters who were a pleasure to look. In the weekends in Soelden you'll see masses of adult people from the gre...

I can't think of a way you could break it like that if the board was completely fine. Usually they snap in front of one of the bindings if you overload a board, dig in the nose or make a bad landing.

What was Kessler's response?

Yes, the upgrade to version 3 is necessary. It will be done during low activity next summer. ;-) why spammers place posts on this forum? are they earn money somehow because of this? If you have a website, and you want a top-10 position in Google for certain keywords like "oil", "gas" or "pipeline",...

Any favorite slopes in the area or nearby areas? We will probably travel to other resorts a few times as well.

I think putting rel=nofollow in every link will at least defeat the purpose of the spamming and won't bother regular users. I think they get paid $0.01 per VALID incoming link. I found some online documentation here for PHPBB3: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=616374 Somebody even pos...

Forum spam

I think the forum has a problem lately of manual spamming, again this morning: https://www.extremecarving.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=90222#90221 Their main goal is getting a link from a reputed website to a website they want to promote in Google, because Google's algorithm looks at how many high qual...

Ofterschwang / Balderschwang - experiences

I have the opportunity to go to one of both places the week before christmas (we will probably go to Balderschwang if the snow at Ofterschwang isn't good enough). I have checked the slopemaps and they both seem to be very small resorts. I don't think this is a problem, as long as the snow is good an...
