Re: Norway Rider of the year vote

I followed Ballard's link and came directly to the voting side in the different categories. It was no nation filter, so if you do as I did, open the link, scroll down, find Hilde's name, and vote, it is done. But Pokkis has a point. Since, this is intended to be a national poll, foreign votes may no...

There are lots of interesting things to do in Kongsberg in the summer. Soon the jazzfestival will be arranged. However, if its good for winterseason fitness, I am not so sure. Enjoy the concerts.

Hi, I have followed the discussion. Unfortunately, I may disappoint you a little bit. I have a Dual myself and find it very difficult to do EC with that board, even with hard boots, compared with my Swoard Extremecarver. I have tried different set-ups, used softer bindings (Proflex Carve RS instead ...

In the May issue of Windsurf Magazine there will be a feature article about windsurfing in Norway. Unfortunately I do not have pictures from the spots in the Eastern part where I usually windsurf, but it can be pretty rough some times.

Starikaska, The Norwegian market for EC is very limited for various reasons, so I am ending up giving advice and instructions for free. But Ben's and J&P's videos together with all the insightful comments are excellent teaching material. By the way this forum in general, and this thread, in particul...

I can only subscribe to Luomo's tips and advices. By accident a couple of years ago, I got really deep and initiated the backside turn from the back seat (weight on the rear foot), as Luomo puts it, and, boom, there it was low and fully stretched. Then I had a session on medium (red) slopes on hero ...

Just to rub it in and make you even more envious. I have just returned to office after 1 hour EC'ing on our local slope here in Oslo, the only carver and almost alone. Very good spring conditions, pretty hard surface. sunshine. The snow in Norway have been at the Northwestern part and not in Oslo, b...

In Norway it is still tons of snow. Hovden in Oppdal was a real rush two weeks ago. Even the local slopes in Oslo is still in good condition, but the mountain resorts are better. The daylight lasts till 8:15 am, but lifts close at 5 am in big resorts, 10 am in Oslo.
