Re: New models of hard boots and tests for extremecarving

Got some very fast feedback from Mountainslope, even during Christmas time  , they gave me some solutions:
- 5 to 10mm smaller binding stance
- using toe and heel lift.
- using another liner

I will first try the softer blue spring. The red spring is obvious too stiff.

Re: New models of hard boots and tests for extremecarving

I have the .951 in the soft version. Did ride them with the red springs for 3 days. They were too stiff at my liking. Gonna ride them this winter further with the blue springs and asked mountainslope for the specs of the blue spring, because I feel I want an even softer spring. With custom footbeds ...

Re: New Extremecarver Gen5: preview

Well your recommendation of 175 "H" concerns me.....would a 175H EC5 be less stiff than a Virus UFC?? ....should I mention I'm 60 years old? I have tested several Virus´ and found them more demanding than the Swoards (but did not test the UFC). The Virus´ want a more sportive rider (especially the ...

Re: Boot flex

Crumb means?

When I buckle it at the 3th position of the ratchet and fasten the topstrap, the black tongue is rather stiff.

Re: UPZ RC-10 movement inside shell

Probably due to low volume feet. Try a thicker insole and or some velcro under the liner which you can glue into the outershell: beware that the innerliner will be more difficult to get out of the boot than. Or let them make you some proper custom fit innerliners, I have the ones from Strolz (In my ...

Re: UPZ RC10 Struggling to get the spring system out

Just put on a big screwdriver on the big screw just right behind the top, it must come out and then push a little on the end of the screw by hand. Put a picture on this topic of your problem, may be we can help you out. I had boots from 2 seasons back and this years model and fixed it within 20 seco...
