O.k., I think, I've got something ;)

Hi, thanks again for your help.

I can get some Epoxy-glue that seems to be very good from a yachting shop. This is the one I will try. If this doesn't work, I'll ask my local dealer ;)

Have a nice weekend

Alternatives??

Hi Jacques, some more questions, as always, when you give me an answer ;) I can buy Araldite 011 for a very expensive price of 177,- Euros per litre. There are other Epoxy-glues for less than the half with similar behavior, why is Araldite so expensive? Which are the parameters, I have to care about...

Edge repair

Hi my friends! I need your help. My sister's WD Knifer is loosing ist's edge. On one side near the nose, the edge is without hold over about 20cm. Ther is no damage at the sidewall or the base, it's only the edge, that is no more fixed. Does anybody know a way to repair this? Thanks for your help!!!...

Always the same

   Like almost every time: They show, who they really are quite soon. Funny that such a person talks about tolerance. You seem to need a lot from others with statements like this. BTW: I don't own a SWOARD, although I tested one. But the very big difference between you and me is: I kn...

It's very easy!

Hey Stef, the solution is so so easy! It's pretty funny to buy a very good pair of bindings and then to decide, that they are not good for conceptional reasons. BTW: The stress/forces to the board are less than two times those of Titaniums, maybe they are even smaller in the maximum stress areas. Bu...

Try to help

Hi, I don't know the SL, too, but there are several points to admit. First it's oo narrow, second it's to short for you. If you want a cheap board to learn carving from new, try to get an older carving-board at ebay or at the local shop. Thre are still some boards with at least 21 cm width available...

completely disagree

Hi Jack, I can't see any reason, why you should or should have to learn bomber style before learning EC! I teach the beginners I'm allowed to teach rotational style, gesture purity and different ways to unweight the edge. I don't think, you have to learn something first, which is hard to train again...

Hi Jacques

Hi Jacques, you're right. I had the same thoughts about the improvement of all the Zinal-partizipants, included myself. The whole resort looked rather different at Monday and it was such a cool experience with all you carvers. See you next year! I take this as a promise! :vamp: greetings from the bl...

change!!

Hey blue Devil, I don't know, what Jacques and Patrice would say, but I think, I have nearly completely changed to rotation-technik. It took me two days with more drifting than carving and with very strong rotations with my shoulders to feel more common with that style. I have to admit, that counter...

Back at work

Hi and greetings to all participants of the ECS '04! It was a harsh change from the slopes with all the kind carvers back to the office today at 8am. I think the term back at work is not really correct, it's more dreaming at work ;)). I WANT TO GO BACK TO ZINAL!!! Where and when will the next ECS be...

Hi, I did one try with cleaning-foam for the carpet. I sprayed it into the boots, then rubbed hard. After a time you can remove it with a vacuum-cleaner. After all I used a deo for coches and textiles and so on. Worked well. I have to admit that it were not my boots ;)). I did not want to macine-was...

Driving to Zinal

Hi guys, to those who are planning to come to Zinal I've got two questions. First is about the best route: I think I've heard about a tunnel to shorten the way from Zürich to Zinal. Does anybody know exkt starting place, times of the trains leaving and prices??? Thanks a lot!!! Second is about drivi...

velcro

Hi István,

Velcro is the textile, which sticks together when one side touches the other. Most gloves have one around the wrist. For sure you know it. On the one side there are little arcs, on the other side there is a more flushy one.
