Biggest benefit of Cateks over TDs is that you can easily adjust canting/lift as you want. But for EC purpose i believe this adjustability is no big issue due preferred flat position, i have understood. I've been using both of them, but currently only with TDs cause weight of them is less.

Yes that film has highest priority on my tape collection, even higher than next best ones, PureCarving tapes where they destroy well prepared corduroy of Aspen

I would also like to categorze E-deck more beginner board with hardboots which can be used also with stiffer soft boots. For me it is something llike one step below alpine board on hab:s. On softies it is good pick like BX boards for people who like to carve properly with softies.

To add here is set my wife use, updated at 10th Feb 2003: on hb with 324 Raichles Prior custom 155/17 with Bombers Virus Lightning 167/15 with Bombers on softies K2 Yaks F2 Eliminator 158 with Clickers No cat, no dog ;) but learned to pack everything very tightly :roll: Boards are no problem, boots ...

My current setup, updated on 10th Feb 2003 Hard boots Raichle 324 (back locks allways open) replaced by 700 SCT with Prior custom 175 / 17 , gone replaced by Donek 185 /18/11m rad Prior wrc 167/17, gone replaced by Bastard 171/14 :) angles 60-70 max what i can get out og Bombersand 80-85 dgrees fith...

I'm also very interested of aggressive softboot carving issue. :lol: Do you have any clips how you guys carve on softies? For me it is huge step to switch from hw setup with high angles(TM) to softies with moderate ones. Still practicing and specially heel side is hard one even heel side is easier w...
