Re: extended

And I found the guy in the youtube link much more dynamic than the technique most snowboarders do here in Ecing, but thats just how I have looked into it) Well, it could be more dynamic (but as you say, it's how one looks at it) but I don't think that one can compare videos from EC where riding is ...

Re: toeside / heelside turn

After years of riding I concluded that I am not a believer of the EC-style and especially the pushpull technique. I don't like the movement of fully extended legs in the turns. Enjoy. http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/Willowfifteen/ECSSaturday# Hi, Willow, I hope that your leg heals ...

Some toeside turn thoughts from ECS

By working with pictures from last ECS I remembered one discussion where it was said that in EC heelside turn is easier than toeside. Sounds contradictionary? Not really, as from observations during ECS and later from the the images quite common mistake on toeside can be observed: people are reachin...

I hope your knees will be better next year. Thanks! If I were in your boots then I would do following: take gondola from Grimentz village up and go to the trail, which returns to the village (on the left hand if you go out from gondola building IIRC). If you can carve this slope all the way down without problems then you are ready to master any slope...
