Skwal in Zinal

I know this has been discussed before... I just want to say that I have got a lot better on extreme carving on my skwal after lerning how to do EC turns on my alpineboard. As they say in older post you do not use rotation. But the most important thing for me has been the push-pull technic! This has ...

I ride boards with waistwidth from 12 to 23 cm and the video was just a remider that the most important thing is to have fun! 8O It was not easy to "ec" turns on this specific slop it was steep and very icy in the first part and then it was not steep enough... We do not have perfect conditions in sw...

All depends so much what you look from board.
I think metal boards become a bit dull, I would not buy a board without carbon  I want them lively and responsive

Hi! I guess I´m used to a lot stiffer and longer boards(as you can see what board I own...) so I have adjusted my technic accordingly... But I only think the boad is to soft when the snow has great grip, on ice its really good. I will most certainly buy a 175M or 168H insted of my 168M. I like long ...

Must ride more

After looking at movieclips of THE extremecarving guys and myself I think I need more practice :-) I realize that I need a bit more speed so perhaps a 168 M will feel better as I am getting better...
What board do Jaques and Patrice ride??

EC movie clip

Most are with a stiff Nitro slalom 9.8 m radius and a narrow waist. So I hopefully will look better this winter :-)

Any hints on developing my EC techic?

For allround carving the 168M (the 2D model) was really good, in fact probably the best board I´ve tried. For EC I only felt comfortable when the conditions where rather hard but not icy. In icy conditions the, in my opinion, short raduis and/or the softness of the board made it turn to tight which ...

Lenght and stiffness of Swoard

Hi! I just sold my 168 M because I thought it was to soft and turned to tight for my EC style. I must admitt that it was perfect to learn how to EC, but once learned the board simply is to soft and turn to tight, especially if there is good grip in the snow. I am 170 cm and my weight is 67 kg, so ac...

168M

Hi It seems like stiffness is highly personal! As a allround carving board nothing beats the 168 M for me (65 kg) but when doing EC turns it feels like it has a to narrow radius (or is to soft). So I would like to try 175 M or 168 H. Both should be a little stiff for me according to the recommendati...
