I got spareparts for my Raichles & Deeluxes at Bomber too, ordered extras (bolts, screws, soles, tongues, etc.) just in case boots will get discontinued down the road. Not sure whether BlueTomato carries spare parts for hardboots. As said, parts are relatively small & light, and with the dollar so c...

Milosh-- We LOVE Val Gardena, and we were there about 5 times in 7 years, coming all the way from the U.S. every time. I prefer is in September for hiking & climbing (a bit only--nothing too dangerous) rather than in the winter. But we've been there twice in the winter, and we loved it! Maily for th...

Sometimes the silhouettes of skiers (the ones who carve) and boarding carvers look exactly alike...I do have trouble telling them apart from a distance. So there must be something to it that the technique is similar.

HELP!!!! COOL SNOWBOARDING CLOTHES Especially the Eur WANTED

OK, guys, I'm sooo sick of the depressing grunge colors of the current snowboarding fashion! I want to know where I can get some pants and jackets in really cool colors like they had from the early to late 90s!!! I'm tired of black, olive green, beige, and shit-brown. The Europeans used to have real...

...oh yeah...I have a friend (who's a ski patroller on an alpine board - so he's no dummy) who tried to teach his 5-year old daughter ( a very athletic kid) to board (soft gear)... It required sooooo much patience and forever standing on the hill, and coaxing and cajoling to get the kid moving down ...

My son learned boarding when he was 7. Before that he skied for a couple of years. We live in the U.S. Midwest, but I took him to Innsbruck one winter where he insisted he wanted to learn boarding. This was in 1993, and they still taught boarding with those old Burton boards of the early 90s, and pl...

Hey, I gave up skiing for this sport! I used to feel a day's skiing in the knees - especially if you want to come down that mountain in the late afternoon, and your legs feel like cooked broccoli!

With boarding, I don't feel athing in my knees, so I assume you can go on until you drop dead, right?

Something additional: linked laid turns are only possible on a very good slope (steep, groomed, wide, empty, etc...) so do not be surprised if you can't do what Patrice and Jacques can.... actually none of us can do that :-) I was wondering whether Partice & Jacques had their own private mountainsi...

What about mounting the Conshoxx on the Silberpfeil? We tried this and I found this way to stiff. I finally gave the Conshoxx to a friend who upgraded his old Jester SL board with it because he rode the board so hard that it became a limp noodle. So what about the Silberpfeil/Conshoxx combination fo...

How cool is that? Of course, living in the American Midwest, I might as well live on the moon when it comes to alpine boardi...
