Hello Domsch

The Tinkler has been sold, but yes it is possible to ship to Europe, not as expensive as some people think. I don't think I would post in this forum if it was not possible.

Binding Materials

It is true that aluminum is not flexible like plastic. Also the shape (angle) of the toe clip has an effect on the clamping force and possibility of release. The sole of the boot is the "spring" that Skywalker mentions, giving some movement in the interface. We could also discuss the merits of thinn...

Early Release

Bomber gives you a "micro" adjustment in the bail, use that to tighten a little more, and this will also help. If the boot flexes when you clamp the boot, then it's too tight, if not, ........... I have also had bindings release when the board chatters on ice. A little tighter and the problem was so...

Kessler!

Nils, thank you for your thoughts. I have a Virus Gladiator in carbon, and have ridden the Zylon version. The Virus Vampire (Titanal topsheet) I thought was a nicer ride than either the carbon or zylon Viruses, that's what started me thinking about Titanal and then of course the most well known user...

Kessler?

I am ready to order, but am still a bit concerned about stories of poor durability, or that the board is too fragile. Does anyone have any information that would help me to decide, is Kessler the board for me? :?: 8O

Sidecut Radius

This is one of the "secrets" of board manufacture, I think we cannot analyze the effect of different types of sidecuts because they all appear on different boards. My favourite is the sidecut that allows the tail to follow the nose exactly, making one thin line in the snow. This makes a very smooth ...

Board Value

This time of year it's really hard to say, if you get 200 euros I think you're doing well. Why not wait for the fall, prices will be higher then.

Re: Coiler sold out

For your Euro funds it's hard to beat Prior's deals on used/demos or even new boards. AND he will have Titanal boards available soon! Sorry that some of you took this to mean that Coiler will have Titanal as a production option, I was talking about Prior. Prior will have Titanal in 181 and 185 WCR ...

RAB

The RAB first appeared on the 325 LTD boot in the 1999 model year. It was a special pearlescent white resin, extra stiff boot, with the RAB mechanism. The "regular" 325 and even the Nagano special edition 325 did not get RAB. How do I know? I have a pair of 325 LTD and my wife has the Nagano model (...

Coiler sold out

This is more the result of Bruce reducing the number of boards he will make than any huge increase in orders. He must also be prepared to support JJA's Olympic efforts.
