Fastec & Flow rearentry bindings - fitting & comparing - help soft boot riders!

Hi guys, I made use of black friday and ordered a Flow NX2 and a F2 Eliminator Fastec rear entry bindings. Haven't shopped for gear since ages - and don't have much to compare with. I'm coming from K2 Cinch which were too soft anyways - and even softer given how long I was beating them. What I loved...

New carving softboot bindings to watch out for?

As I'm in the market for a new softboot bindings, I wonder if there are any models released this upcoming season to watch out for.
Let us know what's out there!
Thanks!

Re: Softboots - which stiff models are out there?

Tried the decade, doesn't fit with my foot/ankle where padding aligns. Also felt much cheaper than other brands I've come across so far. Also lacing didn't quite convince me, inner as well as outer. The nitro select was a positive surprise, many nice features, decent lacing, decent heel lock-in. A b...

Re: Softboots - which stiff models are out there?

Thanks for the heads up on the Northwaves! My first ones back in the days were Northwaves, loved them, they're just not around so much anymore. They're significantly cheaper than the usual suspects - how's build quality? The grommets look rather fat - and the lever lacing system makes me a bit scept...

Softboots - which stiff models are out there?

Hi guys, My old boots are finally worn out after this season, lot of heel lift developed, softened a lot, padding decreased and therefore grommets pressuring a lot. Been happy with them for the time being (older burton ruler) for the time being, now looking for a stiffer model. Would like to get an ...

Re: Softboots & Bindings for BX Carver

Dang, the Ride Insano don't fit my narrow foot.
If anyone wants a pair of Ride Insano, EU43,5 US 10, UK 9, Mondo 28, happy to pass them on for a great price!

Re: Softboots & Bindings for BX Carver

Just received a pair of new boots, Ride Insano boa. Not perfect, but miles ahead of my old ones and got a really good deal. Didn't like the Malamute laces either and was curious to try something else then Burton. Let's see how they hold up. Anyone got a binding recommendation that goes well with them?

Re: Mittens with trigger finger, short cuff AND wrist belt?

It's simply easier. Also, I'm a rather moderate carver, snow barely gets up that high. Plus I have such a sleeve underneath from my jacket that prevents snow from getting in, don't know what it's called, just googled a picture. http://ep.yimg.com/ay/beltoutlet/cuddl-duds-womens-long-sleeve-flex-fit-...

Mittens with trigger finger, short cuff AND wrist belt?

Another question where I'm positive you guys might be the ones to have an idea. My old Level gloves are seasing to be after years. Though I feel that the Biomex wrist guard has saved me more than once from injury. I'm looking for new gloves, though would like to continue using the Biomex wrist guard...

Softboots & Bindings for BX Carver

Hi guys, first off - I wouldn't consider myself an extreme carver, but rather a speedy carver. Still hope I'm more among like-minded folks than in any other snowboarding forum. Been boarding since long, long time, but previously always on all mountain boards. Now I just started my first season on a ...
