Hi Jacques,

you talk about rubber heel. When i look on the standard TD2´s bail i can´t see any rubber on it. Are you ising the ones from TD1 for the heel?

Cheers

Hi, thanks for the tip. Is it possible to install the spring in my Raichle SB 324 boot and if yes where could i buy it from? You wrote about the lateral flex. In my Raichle i have a screw to choose lateral flex possibility of the boot. What is your recommendation about this setting. Should i have th...

Raichle boots forward lean

Hi, i have Raichle SB 324 with a 5 position forward lean. I put my binding as recommended flat on the board. For my back rear boot (regular position) i wanted to know in which of the 5 postions of the forward lean i have the best riding? Normally i use position 3 which is actually in the middle. Whé...

Guys,

would it be possible to stop this kind of conversation. Everybody is fighting against each other and this was not the case in this forum in the past. I would really appreciate to come back to serious discussions without agression.

Thanks

Hi, i have never ridden a Speedster SL 166 but maybe the sidecut of 9.8 is a little bit to small for EC. Also it could be that the board is to soft and the edge grip is not enough because it is designed for SL and quick edge changes - maybe someone can help out who has knowledge about this board. Bu...

Guido, i copy the explanation from the Swoard page for reference because i am not sure you already read this: Waist width: if you want to ride on the edge with the board inclined at nearly 90 degrees, your feet must not raise beyond the board! To meet this condition with the today alpine boards whos...

Hi Guido, i can agree to Istvan. The Burton race is not as stiff as a TD2 or Cateks binding but i also weight over 100kg (193cm tall) and have never broken my Burton race binding riding an Nitro race board. So you can figure it out how the board+binding combination you have reacts in different snow ...

Thanks a lot for your help Jacques and Nils.
First i will try Jacques methode because this is the easiest one - maybe later on i will try to use a brush and see if this will improve something.

Base Preparation / Waxing

Hi, in the instruction manual you wrote that it is not recommended to structure the base again in the base preparation phase because P-Tex 4000 slides best when it is smooth. After removing the old wax is it not recommended to slightly structure the base with a soft brush instead of a copper brush? ...

Hi Dave,

thanks for the tip. I have beed several times to Tignes and thus know the area and pistes quite well. For Carving i really like the Col de Iseran galcier: good snow because up to 3200m and not too crowded.
