I think you have that classical back-side-problem that everyone has sooner or later. It's harder to turn on the back side (and carve, of course). What I'd guess you do is, you heep your legs too straight, and reaching to the snow with your body. When you reach like that, you have to "break" in the h...

Hi there!
For what I've understand, the EuroCarve is what the Americans call the EC style. Because of Sergio Vitelli, if I recall well and his carving style, where it all begun.
IMHO, the EC and EuroCarving is the same thing.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D I DID IT! I GOT IT! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D The new beast has arrived. It's RT GS 173cm model, and as far I can see without tryin, I can put my feet under 60 degrees! It's the model for the next season, it looks like a beast, and I can hardly wait to test it! It's not the SWOARD, I...

Hi there, and let me jump in with what I know or have tried myself. The SilberPfeil is, IMHO, one of the best boards ever made. It really feels good to ride it, and it carves like a dream. That is, for the race-type of carving. One thing, though, is that it's nose tends to be somewhat too stiff, so ...

I dunno. I ride Raichle, too. A model older than his. But I absolutely don't feel ANY need EVER to get my heels lifted. Hell, even my bindings are flat-flat-flat. No canting, no nothing. Boots put you in front by default. Adding to it...I don't know. I think if I was to do that with my boots, I'd en...

Right...
20 cm is a bit narrow for me...Plus, they have pretty long boards...I was offered one custom Burton, waist 22 cm but... Man, it was 188 cm long! It's a missile, no chance in hell to do some turns going slow, or at medium speed. I don't wanna be a scud on the piste...

Swoard: similars?

Just wondering... Why doesn't anybody else make anything similar to Swoard? I mean, some manufacturers make race boards, SL, GS, this, that, stuff 'n things, but it's almost impossible to find race board of any kind wider than 210 mm at waist. A problem for a 29-29 1/2 US size shoe... I mean, I trie...

Some Q's about bindings

Hi! I was just reading JR's post on TD2 bindings, and I must admit I wanted to order myself a pair (or two) immidiately! He seems very pleased. Anyhow, I remembered I managed to destroy both rails on my rear binding this year. First the front one, and then ther rear one the next day. Those are (hmmm...

Yes, of course! I ain't gonna forget anything I learned. Even that 360's with grabs 'n stuff. I don't do them for years, but I ain't gonna forget'em. It's one other thing that I don't undrstand: you go downhill, and you go hard. Fast. Faster. Even faster. Of course, you're (almost) alone on the pist...

It goes like this: you take an old tube that got penetrated or simply went flat from no obvious reason off the bicycle.
 :P :D I think I just found out how is it possible that bicycle tubes go "flat from no obvious reason" :P :D

Yup, that helps a lot. Knowing what protractor is gives a whole new light to the measuring procedure above.
I gotta leave job early today to go home & do some angles

I've seen that topic before, and I read it again... I don't understand something, though: You can mesure this at home with a rule and a protactor: put the rule on the sole perpendiculary to the board axis and mesure with the protactor, the angle between the rule (the sole plane) and the the point we...
