AF700 ( Raichle Acceleration Box ) - modification

This one comes on the AF700, and since i'm going to get them, i wanted to know how to modify it: Here is his explainations> "I've attached two j-pegs that show and explain the modifi...

En revanche un skwal un peu large avec des fixs de monoski dans l'axe faudrait essayer :) tu as pense quoi de la vide...

toe and back turn

well bawbawbel, those two turns do have the same feel to my opinion in a EC technique, the pressure is equally applied on both legs, and the feeling i have , especially on the backside is that i'm turning in a pullman seat, it feels very safe and comfy. I'm not sure I understand your point on camber...

how to forget about counter rotation

Getting rid of it is hard: the best way is to ride with both arms GLUED to the side of the body, except during laid turns... It not only obliges you to do rotation turns ( shoulder/hips turns starter), but also gives this very nice minimalist EC style. Its very hard at first, because it feels you ne...

hey jasper :)

I guess you're ready for the next step, like i was before the winter last season..... I wasn't far from what you show here, and it took me 15 days to understand the whole EC trip, hardest thing was to forget about counter rotations ( the pics above show you tend to use counter rotation a bit still)....

injected liners

saso, usually, the shop that do it are pro ski shops, where the pro skiiers go to have their skiboots fitted. You just go to one of those with your snowboard shoes and then its easy. Slovenia is close to austria, maybe a solution would be to find where in austria people do it, and go there for a wee...

Re: boot problem

Hi, I have narrow heel so my boots don't hold it well enough. On almost every right turn, especially if I am riding on rough terrain, I find myself standing on my toes in the middle of turn. Hi saso, I have the same problem, narrow heels and leg, I solved it the day I got myself an injected liner f...

Eduard :) lucky summer carver

How wide is the Virus?? it seems it is way too narrow to me (usually virus boards are very narrow)... The problem you're facing is that the feet having big angles ( above 60°??) its very hard to apply equivalent pressure on both legs when you initiate the turn. The back leg has less power than the f...

hey richard :)

Thnx for sharing the movie, has an hassle to watch it cos wmv isn't seeingable on mac OSX, but managed to borrow a crappy PC for it :D... It seems from the clip you got strong legs, but i'd say you make the common mistakes ( i made them) that are a the last barrier to efficient extremecarving.. legs...
